We have during the last 6-12 months seen that companies are actively doing more negotiations than before.
In order to become a better negotiator, one needs to work with a number of different skill-sets.
- Do your homework before a negotiation (facts, background, mandates, etc)
- Decide on a gameplay in the negotiation
- Plan each phase of the negotiation
- Use appropriate verbal behaviors in the negotiation
